A Development Agent is an independent
contractor who has an agreement to develop and support a specified number of
SUBWAY® restaurants within a specified geographic territory. The Development
Agent’s duties include: - The recruitment of new franchise owners
- Assistance to franchise owners in the area of site selection
- Assistance to franchise owners with lease negotiation
- Assistance to franchise owners with construction and opening of
the restaurant
- Providing franchise owners with ongoing operational support
As compensation, the Development Agent will receive a
portion of all franchise fees and up to1/3 of the royalties collected from the
stores in his or her territory.
